Spring is finally, I guess!

The birds are chirping, a sure sign of spring. I haven't gotten out of bed yet. Just laying here enjoying the sound of the birds.

Today is my mothers 70th birthday...or would have been. I am going after work to plant flowers by her grave. Dad wants me to plant marigolds, like last year. He says this year he wants yellow and orange ones. He usually goes with me for this task but this year, he's out of the state. So I'll be making this trip alone.

The birds are still chirping and I am going to make this a happy day. Nothing is going to stop me.

Happy Birthday, Mom!!
